A Culture of Trust: Building a Successful School Through Confidence, Collaboration and Leadership
• Paul Ash, Ph.D., Superintendent of Schools, Lexington, Mass.
• David Gotthelf, Ph.D., chief psychologist, Newton Public Schools
During the past decade, school and municipal departments have been forced to adopt more and more standardization, accountability, and compliance rules to improve employee performance. This conference will focus on strategies that increase organizational outcomes, innovation, and employee morale, promoting a culture of trust, collaboration, capacity building, and leaderships at all levels. Presenters will share examples of what has worked--and not worked--in connecting teachers, administrators, departments, and agencies to work together in more effectively meeting the academic and social/emotional needs of students.
